Proud To Be A British Brand

Dating back to around 6500BC, Great Britain is a country steeped in tradition and history. It may not have the best weather but it’s a country of diverse contrasts with an eclectic mix of vibrant, cosmopolitan cities and beautiful rural lush landscapes.

2012 is definitely the year to celebrate being British. Having already commemorated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and with the London Olympics just around the corner, we have a lot going on this year to be proud of.

As many of you know Organic Surge is a British brand. Our head office is based in Wick, Northern Scotland and our products are created and made right here in Britain. We support and celebrate the British trade and industry.

Organic Surge's founder Alan MacKenzie is also very proud of our British roots and still lives here in Wick, which is renowned for its natural beauty and landscapes. Being surrounded by nature also helped inspire Alan to create the Organic Surge brand in the first place.

In 1996, Alan searched for natural products that worked  just as well as the chemical ones but were kinder to his skin, and found very little choice. And so he created a range of products developed with integrity and untouched by potentially harmful chemicals – affordably priced, too. Organic Surge was born!

These are Alan's current favourite product picks:

Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel safeguards your skin's natural moisture while it cleanses. Natural antioxidant, Vitamin E and bergamot essential oil help to soothe any skin irritation while glycerine actively attracts moisture to the skin allowing it to remain soft and hydrated.

Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion is super-hydrating and quickly absorbed to protect from dryness and irritation. Skin-conditioning almond oil and glycerine leave skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised. Enriched with organic bergamot and sweet orange essential oils, which eliminate toxins and help to de-stress.
