Hi, I'm Alan MacKenzie, founder of the Organic Surge range.I have always been fascinated by the huge range of toiletries in stores but was shocked by all the harsh, obscure chemicals they contain.
I searched for natural products that worked just as well and were kinder to my skin and the environment but found very little choice. And so I created a range of products developed with integrity and untouched by potentially harmful chemicals –affordably priced, too. Organic Surge was born!
My ambition for Organic Surge is to create a highly successful brand which helps to release children from poverty and gives them enriched meaningful lives. Every product you buy contributes to our efforts to support Africa’s most vulnerable children.
But the quest never ends and the Organic Surge range is continually monitored and updated to bring you the latest advances in science and nature. My team works with mainstream and alternative doctors, chemists, nutritionists and horticulturalists to ensure that we always offer you the very best.

Every single Organic Surge product sold contributes to our efforts to support Africa’s most vulnerable children.
Integral to the Organic Surge brand are our ethical ambitions. Our ultimate aim is to develop a highly successful brand which helps in our efforts to release children from poverty, enabling them to live enriched, meaningful lives.
We take an unusually hands-on approach to charity work and have been known to send one of our team into a troubled area to give help directly at source, especially where vulnerable children are involved. Our work with the charities we support helps to provide accommodation, food, medical services, education and hope for the future.
Many millions of African children are orphaned or vulnerable through HIV/AIDS, disability and the affects of conflict. Our donations go towards creating educational scholarships in schools, helping the Kenya Children’s Home Orphanage in Kenya and supporting the Watoto children’s charity in Uganda.
Watoto places parentless children in families where their physical needs are met and they enjoy unconditional love and care. The Watoto children will grow and flourish into agents of change for future generations.
We are proud that, in 2009, Organic Surge donations funded the Baby Care Unit in Kenya Children's Home in Nairobi. The Baby Care Unit cares for 48 sick or abandoned children, from newborns to 2 year olds and Organic Surge funded all costs for nursing care, food and staff for the full year.

"In April 2010 I was fortunate enough to be invited to visit the TBH children's home in Nairobi, in addition to the Mashimoni school within the slums of Nairobi.
