Guide To Looking After Your Skin This Autumn

Shorter, colder nights and falling leaves all signify that Autumn has officially arrived. During the season of transition we reluctantly put away our shorts and summer dresses and start to layer up with sweaters and jackets. Clothes can protect our bodies, however this is the time when our skin needs attention and protection from the elements too.

1.    HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE
Outdoor cold spells can leave skin left feeling dry and tight. Make sure to moisturise twice daily with a suitable skincare for your skin type.

2.    DON’T OVER CLEANSE
Do not over-wash your face and opt for a natural cleanser that doesn’t strip the skin of its natural oils.

Combat day-to-day stress by taking some time for yourself to do something you enjoy. By learning ways to reduce your stress levels, you will be better equipped to deal with future stressful situations and feel happier.

10.    GET ENOUGH SLEEP
Stick to a sleep schedule, don’t use electrical equipment before going to bed and create a comfortable environment that is ideal for sleeping.
